Pardon Aid Initiative

The Pardon Aid Initiative is dedicated to Jon Woods, political prisoner since 2017, whose struggle for justice has been an inspiration to our mission.

"When justice fails, the Constitutional remedy is a Presidential pardon."
Suzzanne Monk, How to Pardon the J6ers

The weaponization of our justice system against "political opponents" has created a judicial crisis of morals, ethics and Constitutionality.  Lawfare is a scourge on our justice system, whether wielded against citizens like the J6ers, pro life activists, PTA parents and 2nd amendment supporters or against a political opponent like General Flynn, George Santos or even Trump himself.

The danger of courts abusing their power was obvious to the Founders, who created a specific remedy to a broken and out of control justice system - the Presidential pardon.  The President's broad power to grant clemencies and commutations is the final check and balance on a 'legal' system run amok: when the courts get it wrong, the President has the power to make it right.

Even with the protections enumerated in the Bill of Rights against the abuses of judicial power, the Founders knew that justice is not always served by those who exact it.  Judges are not always right, or fair.  Prison is hard, but must not be cruel.  Justice must be equal to the offense, no more or less.  Adjudication must be swift.  Verdicts must represent truth, not merely the opinions of clever lawyers or biased jurors.  Innocence must be presumed until guilt is confirmed in a court of law bound by the tenets of due process.  When this basic foundational concept of justice is violated, the pardon is the Constitutional remedy.

While working on our historic J6 Pardon Project, it became clear that there are hundreds of US political prisoners right here in our own ill run and abusive prison system.  Americans were victimized by a weaponized legal system that was used to crush dissenting voices and destroy political adversaries.  These often completely innocent victims sit rotting in prison today.

This abomination of injustice was seen most clearly in the vast witchhunt against J6 protestors.  Over 1600 were aggressively charged, imprisoned without trials, dragged through kangaroo courts and ultimately sentenced in one of the largest and most systemic travesties of justice in our nation's history...a violation of justice so egregious it required a massive day one "blanket" pardon by President Donald J. Trump.

Many more political prisoners need that Presidential (or gubernatorial) mercy, or rectification.  The Pardon Aid Initiative was created to advocate for the justice of these citizens who have been wronged by our corrupted justice system.  Through citizen education and activism, we can help ensure these political prisoners get their well deserved freedom and hopefully justice, just as we did throughout 2024 with the highly successful J6 Pardon Project.

Our Pardon Aid Initiative has 3 goals:

-Raise Public Awareness - Educate fellow Americans and our elected officials about our political prisoner crisis and the need for clemency.

-Build a Public Mandate - Activize patriots to build the public support and pressure needed to help secure individual pardons for needing political prisoners.

-Support Political Prisoner Recovery - Facilitate post incarceration support for pardoned political prisoners to assist them in getting back on their feet after their post clemency release.

You can help meet these goals, rectify injustice and restore liberty and life to the victims of judicial weaponization.  Through your voice, your action and your financial support, we can continue to call for justice until America no longer holds political prisoners and our justice system is Constitutionally restored.
