Getting out of prison is no picnic.

Even with a pardon from the President of the United States, readjusting back into the free world poses many challenges.

​

The J6 pardons taught us the many difficult hurdles ex-inmates face: getting their identification, finding employment, temporary housing, utilities and food, clothing, transportation, education, health and wellness needs and more.  Lawfare has financially devastated these people and their families, so getting started over from nothing can require a little hand up.

​

While these victims of government abuse need and deserve real restitution, there are many immediate and minor needs that make the real difference in just getting back to living.  In my work with the J6ers after the pardons, it became clear that a small fund was necessary to be able to provide support for some of the basic immediate post incarceration needs for pardoned individuals in order to ensure the pardon didn't just leave them out of jail but also literally out on the street.

Our plan for the fund is simple: we will raise the $10,000 to fill up the fund, and AS  WE SPEND it to assist in the emergency recovery needs of post release political prisoners, we will raise funds again to $10,000 so we will always keep the "kitty" full.  As our loyal Patriot Action PAC donors know, we only raise funds as we need to use them in our activist work.  We do the maximum activism for the smallest cost as our motto, and we completed the entire J6 Pardon Project for under $6,000.  However, in order to act quick to meet immediate recovery needs, we must have funds already on hand.  So we've set a modest goal of $10,000 to launch the fund and keep on hand for the duration of the Pardon Aid Initiative.
